Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model from the United States. He gained fame due to his work as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. Alongside appearing on Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs, The Lost Law & Order along with several others. Qualls has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting it ever since. Within two years the cancer is now into Remission. The treatment was so early that it caused a serious impact on the body and slowed his growth. When he began acting, as if financial security was his goal because he had seen poverty throughout his childhood. I've been living so cheaply for so long I have to have that financial security or else the world seems uncontrollable for me when he spoke to an interviewer. In an interview, he also reflects on his childhood. He is determined to end bullying. DJ states "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." The man says his ideal role would be to portray father figures in the real world and on film. However, he admits that "Directors do not cast me in the roles I'm in." He'd like to be father one day so he can devote more time with his child as well as his professional.
